WCC has delivered expeditions and training in all of the UK’s wildest places and in some of the more exotic and remote locations on Earth. Steve Marsh, Frome Community College DofE unit leader says: “Using Wildcountry Consultants has enabled us to safely take our DofE expeditions into more adventurous terrain. This has greatly increased the learning opportunities and challenges, thereby resulting in a more enjoyable and rewarding experience for our students.”
The value of DofE for young people in the eyes of prospective employers was endorsed when a survey of 63% of major British companies voted that the DofE Award came top; in their eyes it made “the most positive difference [in selecting applicants] for interview.”
