Operating safely in the outdoors is of paramount importance, however in order to achieve the criteria set down by the DoE award and to maximize the development potential it is necessary that the students taking part in the expedition plan the process and complete it unaided. At Wild Country Consultants we believe that planning, coupled with the right degree of training and discrete supervision, ensure that safety is maintained whilst maximizing the quality of the expedition from the student’s point of view.


We can run individual training sessions in a class room environment or organise day/weekend sessions in an appropriate environment to ensure that some or all of the following skills are embedded.
