Our Leaders are carefully chosen by us to ensure that they uphold the principles of our company.

We know from first hand experience that they have:

  • A love and respect of the outdoor environment
  • A passion for youth development
  • A commitment to uphold the standards of the DofE Programme
  • A working knowledge of the terrain in which they will be operating

 

All of our instructors are qualified by the Mountain Leader Training Board (UK) to operate in wild country. They have current remote first aid certificates at level 2 as standard and are CRB checked to an enhanced level. They all have a comprehensive working knowledge of the requirements of the DofE and many of them are also accredited by the DofE to assess at Gold standard.

In addition many of our leaders come from a background of management, personnel development and/or teaching, and they will use their strengths to ensure that the development opportunities for each individual within the group environment are maximised.
