The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is a voluntary, non-competitive and uniquely individual program of activities for anyone aged between 14 and 24. It has three progressive levels of programs which when successfully achieved lead to holding a bronze, silver or gold level Duke of Edinburgh award.

There are four sections at Bronze and Silver level: Volunteering, Physical, Skills and Expedition and an additional Residential section at Gold level. A Duke of Edinburgh Award is achievable by any young person who chooses to take up its challenge, regardless of ability, gender, background or location.
