As one of the first DofE approved activity providers in the UK Wildcountry consultants have built a solid reputation for delivering high quality expedition programmes at all levels of the award.

We work in partnership with the DofE head office in Windsor and operating authorities throughout the UK to match the needs of individuals and groups whilst fulfilling all of the DofE Award expedition requirements.

Our Leaders who are all experts in the outdoors are selected from a background of management, personnel development and teaching. This ensures that the development opportunities of the expedition participants are maximised. This multi-disciplined approach is echoed in our worldwide expeditions for school groups who wish to visit more exotic locations as varied as the summits of previously unclimbed peaks in remote Ladakh to the depths of the Peruvian Amazon basin.

For the more adventurous and experienced adults we run bespoke mountaineering expeditions to areas unfrequented by other commercial mountaineering organisations.

For those wishing to improve their skills in the outdoors, we run comprehensive courses in navigation, rock climbing, scrambling and winter walking.
